Frequently asked questions

How do I cancel my subscription?

Stylette Premium is billed by Apple, so it's managed through your Apple ID — not inside the app. On your iPhone, open Settings, tap your name at the top, tap Subscriptions, select Stylette, then tap Cancel Subscription. You'll keep Premium access until the end of the period you've already paid for, then it won't renew. We never charge your card directly and there is no separate billing to cancel with us.

How do I delete my data?

Open the Profile screen in the app and tap Delete my data. This permanently wipes all the data Stylette stores on your device — your style profile, onboarding preferences, saved analyses, and your current weekly usage count. There is no account, so nothing else is held about you. To stop the free-tier limit being bypassed by repeated deletion, one anonymous weekly usage counter is kept server-side (in Cloudflare KV) and automatically expires within 14 days; it is not linked to any other data and cannot identify you. Why was my outfit analysis blocked or rate-limited?

There are two reasons this can happen:

Free-tier limit: the free tier includes 2 outfit analyses per week. The counter resets at the start of each week. Premium gives you unlimited Style Checks and Roasts.
Photo couldn't be analysed: Stylette checks each photo before analysing it. If the image isn't a clear photo of an outfit or person, you'll be asked to retake it. Try good lighting and make sure the full outfit is visible.

Is my photo stored?

No. Your photo is sent once over an encrypted connection for analysis and is immediately discarded by Stylette — it is never saved to our servers. Location and device metadata (EXIF) is stripped on your device before the photo is sent. The image is processed by Anthropic's Claude AI to produce your result; as disclosed in our Privacy Policy, Anthropic may retain API inputs for up to 30 days for safety and abuse-detection purposes.

Do I need an account to use Stylette?

No account is required. Your preferences and saved analyses are stored locally on your device. This means there's no password to manage and very little personal data is ever collected — see the Privacy Policy for the full detail.
